EAC Certificate belongs to the certificate of Customs Union. Customs Union is an economic group dominated by Russia, Barrows (Original name: White Russia), Kazakhstan these three countries. In 2015, EAC Certificate started to be obligatory. Or to say, only when the enterprise obtains EAC Certificate, its products could be sold or imported in these three countries mentioned above.

There are two kinds of EAC certificates. One is called EAC certificate of conformity. EAC certificate of conformity is issued by the certification authority and testing laboratory uniformly certified and registered by the customs union, which can be applied by domestic factories. The validity period of EAC certificate is divided into single batch and 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 years. Single batch EAC certificate needs to be sent to foreign countries for testing; Certificates valid for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 years must be audited by foreign institutions and tested abroad.

The other is called EAC compliance certification, which can be issued only by providing documents without sample test and factory inspection, but the certification applicant must be an enterprise of the customs union as a product quality guarantee company. At present, most of the so-called EAC certification in China refers to this kind of certification.
